TIRANA, Feb 9 /ATA/ – A German tourism expert has invited tourists to explore Albania as one of undiscovered destinations, citing the country’s participation in the last international tourism and travel exhibition in Stuttgart, CMT.
Speaking at a show at the German national television network, Southwest Broadcasting, SWR, Prof. Christian Buer highlighted the fact the in addition to its stunning coastline and beaches, similar to Italian, Greek or Croatian beaches, Albania is rich in cultural heritage sites, two of which have been already inscribed into the UNESCO’s World Heritage List.
German tourism expert said that Albania also brims with historic sites, mountain towns and has huge adventure sports potential.
Prof. Buer underlines that Albania is a safe country, just like other European countries like Croatia, Slovenia, or Greece, saying he is also impressed about Albania’s hospitality.
German tourism expert said that during his stay and work in Albania he had personally witnessed an ancient Albanian saying “Before the house belongs to the owner, it first belongs to God and the guest.”
