Poroshenko sees no progress in the discussion of the "road map" on the Donbas

WARSAW, Dec. 2 - RIA Novosti. President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said about the lack of progress in the discussion of the "road map" for the settlement in the Donbass in the framework of "Norman Quartet" (France, Germany, the Russian Federation and Ukraine).
"We note the absence of any progress in the discussion and implementation of the" road map "- Poroshenko said at a press conference in Warsaw after talks with his Polish counterpart Andrzej Duda.

In Berlin, 19 October was the heads of "Norman Quartet" summit, which was attended by the leaders of Russia, Germany, Ukraine and France. Following the summit, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said that the "Normandy format" adopted a proposal for a "road map" to resolve the situation in the Donbass. Poroshenko also said that the basis of the draft "road map" must be approved by the foreign ministers of "Norman Quartet" to the end of November.
On Tuesday in Minsk hosted a meeting of Foreign Ministers of "Norman Quartet".According to Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov of the Russian Federation, no breakthrough was reached at the meeting. It was expected that one of the main issues of the meeting will attempt to agree on a "road map" for the Donbas.Representative of Kyiv in the contact group on Donbass Leonid Kuchma expressed doubt earlier that the "road map" will be agreed before the end of the year.
