Russia’s Supreme Court has confirmed lawful a court’s ruling banning activities of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people in Russia and Russian-occupied Crimea.
Journalist of Radio Liberty Anton Naumlyuk, who was present in the court’s hall, posted this on Twitter.
“Russia’s Supreme Court has confirmed a ban of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people. An appeal has been rejected,” he wrote.
