Cairo, February 11 (QNA) - The Second Conference of Speakers of the Arab Parliaments kicked off Saturday at the Arab League General Secretariat headquarters in Cairo.
HE Speaker of the Advisory Council Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khulaifi is heading Qatar's delegation to the conference.
The conference will discuss a number of issues, including the Palestinian issue, the Arab-Israeli conflict, Arab solidarity, Arab political initiative for addressing the internal problems, and rejecting foreign interference in Arab affairs.
Topics on the agenda also include the position towards the Justice Against Sponsors of Terrorism Act (JASTA), means of maintaining Arab national security, developments in the Arab countries, sustainable development and the Arab economic integration, and empowerment of youth and women. (QNA)
