Did Russia Hack the Election?

According to anonymous government leakers, Russian hackers broke into computers and email accounts belonging to Democratic party officials in order to help Donald Trump win the presidency. The Intercept's Sam Biddle sifted the public evidence, most of which comes from private security firms with a vested interest in the outcome, and found questionable assumptions, guesswork, and speculation.

The case against Russia is plausible, even likely, but too many questions remain. Jeremy Scahill and Jon Schwarz call on President Barack Obama to disclose the secret evidence. "U.S. intelligence agencies have repeatedly demonstrated that they regularly both lie and get things horribly wrong. In this case, they may well be correct, but they cannot expect Americans to simply take their word for it."
