The Wall Street Journal Morning Editorial Report Morning Editorial Report Hillary Joins the Recount Campaign By JAMES FREEMAN “On Saturday what’s left of the Clinton campaign said it will join the recount effort demanded by Green Party candidate Jill Stein in Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania,” notes a Journal editorial. “The conspiracy theory for which they have no evidence is that Russian hackers rigged voting machines to manipulate the results.” Three weeks ago, Hillary Clinton called Donald Trump to concede the election. Three weeks before that, she called it “horrifying” when Mr. Trump said at their final debate in Las Vegas that he would look at the results of the election before accepting them. In Las Vegas, Mrs. Clinton added “that is not the way our democracy works. We’ve been around for 240 years. We’ve had free and fair elections. We’ve accepted the outcomes when we may not have liked them. And that is what must be expected of anyone standing on a debate stage during a general election.” Mrs. Clinton elaborated that Mr. Trump’s questioning if the election would be rigged “just shows you’re not up to doing the job. And let’s -- you know, let’s be clear about what he is saying and what that means. He is denigrating -- he’s talking down our democracy.
