Cambodian PM Wishes Visitors Joys during Water Festival Celebration
AKP Phnom Penh, November 14, 2016 –
Cambodia’s Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen in a Facebook post in Khmer and English this afternoon called on both national and international tourists to continue enjoying the annual celebration of Water Festival.
“Cambodia is pleased to welcome all visitors during Boat Race, Moon and Water Festival from November 13-15, 2016,” he said. “Please have a pleasant stay in Kingdom of Cambodia!”
According to the premier, the first day of the Water Festival was held with joyfulness. Hundreds of thousands of Cambodian people have flocked to Phnom Penh capital city to enjoy the celebration, especially to watch the boat races along the riverside.
Today is the second day of the celebration and the full moon day, and some rituals will be organised at the Royal Palace tonight.
